Amazing experience with my family to dining here!Food tastes delicious and customer service is great . James was super friendly and patient! We will definitely come back again!

This Sichuan restaurant is amazing, especially their beef noodles. Must try! And ending the meal with a bowl of iced jelly (bingfen) is simply perfect. The food is served fast, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended and I'll definitely come back to try more !

The food was delicious . We had Cold noodles, Pork ribs, fried shrimp dry pot, and some assorted hot pot which was one of their top sellers . Everything was perfectly packed with heat . Lots of great textures and flavors . We pass through the area from time to time and will definitely return !

Visited Sichuan Impression in Tustin hoping for that signature bold and spicy Sichuan kick, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The dishes lacked the heat and deep flavor that you'd expect from authentic Sichuan cuisine. While the food was decent enough, it felt a bit toned down and underwhelming in terms of spice and taste. That being said, if you live nearby and are looking for a convenient spot for some mild Sichuan food, it's a solid option for a quick bite. The service was good, and the ambiance was nice, but for a true spicy Sichuan experience, this wouldn't be my first choice. TLDR; Worth it if you're local, but not the destination for spice lovers!

One of my regular restaurants, I've had some not so good dishes but there are some real bangers. As a bonus, the restaurant is also on Jonathan Gold's 100 places to eat before you die. Recommend starting the yelp waitlist before you drive over and save yourself the wait time! Dishes I love: - Cumin lamb with scallions (the other really popular one is the mutton toothpick, which is also good, but I love scallion so that's where I go) - Mao Cai (savory soupy goodness, filled with variety veggies and thinly sliced meat) Dishes I like: - shredded potato salad - wonton chili oil - impressive noodles - fish with rattan Avoid this dish: Steamed Pork ribs with rice flour Tea smoke pork ribs (beautiful in photos but ours was dry, I've never tried it again) Service is okay, you might find yourself chasing someone down. The vibes is very much that they occupied a pre-existing place and never bothered to renovate; feels authentic haha.

Still one of my favorite spicy Chinese restaurants in OC/LA. Their food is finely prepared with layers of spice and umami flavors. They have added a lot of new dishes over the years. I'm so happy they got yet another Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition 2023. Our favorite dishes are: Toothpick Lamb Stir Fried Chilli Chicken Dry Pot Shrimp Dry Pot Beef (New) Boiled Fish fillet in Chilli sauce Mao Cai Twice Cooked Pork Kid Friendly Dishes that my kid loves: Home Styled Fried Rice Qiao Jiao Beef Soup of Lehan (without the chilli) Stir fried Beef with Scallions Yummy Comfort Food: "Street Food" Potato Strips Impressive Cold Noodles MaPo Tofu (for vegetarians, you can ask them to cook it without meat) Service is also friendly and thoughtful. They often give us napkins, prompt with our requests, and chat with us in a very friendly way. They are having a OC Restaurant Week Special right now, which allows a tasting of several different dishes family style, which we really enjoyed! We get to try some new dishes that we don't usually order and find them very good too. Overall, highly recommend!

Delicious! I'm always excited to come here because all the dishes are so flavorful. The fried squid dry pot said it would come with lotus root (under item description) but I didn't see any in our dish. Lotus root would've added a nice crunch. If you come with a larger party, I would recommend the boiled fish. Even as a group of 4, we had lots of leftover because we wanted to try other dishes.

I loved: $24 Boiled White fish I really liked: $15 Fried String Beans + $23 Lamb skewers + $10 Impressive Bean Jelly + $41 Braised whole Sea Bass + $23 Fried Squid Dry Pot + Incredible #goodeats but so spicy! Clearly I liked the less spicy stuff but even so, you can tell everything here uses high quality ingredients. I'd say it's 90% as good as in China itself which is honestly impressive. Service is expected for an Asian resturant. You absolutely have to flag a waiter down. You will feel ignored if you don't do so. Same for the noise level. It's a bunch of Asian people loudly talking. We got there at 11:30 and there was plenty of seating but as soon as 12:15 rolled around, there was a wait list.

1. The bean jelly had a thick shape yet a soft texture! The rib meat fell off the bones so easily! The boiled fish broth was well-made and spicy! 2. The spot has cozy-casual vibes! 3. There are plenty of indoor seatings! 4. The staff were friendly and attentive! 5. Parking lot is huge! Note: You will place your order by scanning a QR from your phone! You have the option to pay on your phone, but they can still bring a machine for you to pay by card! I came here with several work colleagues and all I had to do was show up and eat. My colleague took care of ordering for the table and she made good selections. Some of the items were Tea Smoke Pork Ribs, Toothpick Mutton, Smoked Duck, Fried Green Beans and pureed pork. The food was good, the service was good enough and they had a table big enough to accommodate all of us. Four stars!
